The Valerie Fund is a not-for-profit organization established in 1976 in memory of Valerie Goldstein by her parents, Ed and Sue. The Valerie Fund’s mission is to provide support for the comprehensive health care of children with cancer and blood disorders.
The Valerie Fund Children’s Centers comprise one of the nation’s largest networks of healthcare facilities and provide a unique combination of medical care, counseling and other services for over 25,000 patient visits per year. The organization's philosophy is to treat the whole patient as well as the patient’s family, including emotional, social and developmental treatment to complement medical care of the highest quality.
