The Center for Relationship Abuse Awareness

The Center for Relationship Abuse Awareness

The mission of the Center for Relationship Abuse Awareness is to educate and train communities and institutions to respond effectively to women who are experiencing relationship abuse.

Its services prioritize prevention and awareness of domestic violence through specialized training for the systems that survivors face every day. The Center trains professionals such as university staff, social workers, law enforcement, health care providers, educators and court personnel to effectively respond to domestic violence survivors and their children, so that these professionals can participate in the solution to end domestic violence and create long lasting systemic change. Center staff educate and train the community through workshops, printed materials, presentations, and through the Center’s extensive website.
