Jenny's Light is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving and saving lives by raising awareness of perinatal mood disorders, especially postpartum depression.
On December 19, 2007, Jennifer and her baby Graham Gibbs Bankston tragically passed away. Jenny suffered silently with postpartum depression but her symptoms could have been detected and treated. Jenny's Light was founded by her family to be a source of information, hope and inspiration for other women who may be suffering from PPD and as an educational resource for their families.
A financial gift to Jenny’s Light will support the following programs: Allow Jenny's Light to fund groups and organizations nationally that raise awareness and develop resources to address postpartum depression. Allow Jenny's Light to develop and provide critical educational resources. Allow Jenny's Light to develop new partnerships, and raise awareness of perinatal mood disorders and postpartum depression via events, trade fairs and communication collateral.
