Free Arts NYC

Free Arts NYC

Free Arts NYC provides under-served children with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs to help them foster the self-confidence and resiliency needed to realize their fullest potential.

Partnering with group homes, shelters, schools and community centers, Free Arts NYC programs help children learn to express themselves, build communication skills, and develop trust in positive role models. With a unique volunteer-based model, children and families receive a high level of personal attention, with volunteer-to-child ratios many times at 1:1 and, at most, 1:3.

Since inception, Free Arts has empowered more than 25,000 low-income, homeless, abused and neglected children with creativity, social skills and confidence that will help them overcome negative situations and succeed in life.
