The Dragoon Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt private organization, established in May 2008. It supports the Soldiers and Families of the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment posted out of Rose Barracks, Germany. Through its fundraising efforts, the Dragoon Foundation provides Community Grants, Educational Assistance, Financial Help for Families, and Honor Fallen Soldiers.
Members of the military and their families should have the opportunity to improve themselves, be recognized for their service, and participate in a community. However, the location of 2SCR presents obstacles which Army Soldiers and Families would not otherwise encounter in a civilian or stateside environment. The Dragoon Foundation provides educational and financial resources to 2nd Styker Cavalry Regiment Soldiers and Families that enable them to achieve personal growth and enhance their community.
