Bake Me Home

Bake Me Home

Bake Me Home is a charitable organization dedicated to providing homeless and disadvantaged moms and kids with direct services that encourage shared family experiences.

We are 8 year old twin sisters, Emma and Amy. We love making homemade cookies with our Mom and we want other kids to spend time with their moms, and enjoy eating cookies. But for kids who are homeless this is really hard. So we started a charity (with a little help from our Mom!) to help moms and kids at The YWCA Battered Women's Shelter, The Bethany House Shelter, and The Tom Geiger Guest House in Cincinnati, Ohio. These organizations do a great job helping the families find new homes and we want to give them a present on moving day. So we give each family everything they need to make their own homemade cookies, all in one of our "Bake Me Home" cloth grocery bags. It includes a jar of our original Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, a $20 grocery store gift card, a bowl, spoon, cookie sheet, pot holder and spatula. We also added toothbrushes and toothpaste so they can brush their teeth after they eat their cookies!

Our Dad says we will make the world a better place, one cookie at a time!
