Help Siobhan as she raises money for American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, the largest cancer-fighting movement in the world. The American Cancer Society funded research that led to mammography, the Pap test, discovery of the breast cancer genes, the cure for childhood leukemia, and so much more. Relay is an overnight event, with participants walking a track throughout the night as a symbol for the never sleeping fight against cancer. Each of us has our own reasons for caring about the fight against cancer. For some relay is just a fun event to partake in, for some it is about funding as much as possible, for others it is a way to remember loved ones, and for many many more it's a valuable support system to get them through tough times. It is a truly moving cause.
A message from Siobhan:
I participated in Relay last year because the cause is very close to home for many of my good friends, though I had no idea what to expect going into the event. It was so incredibly moving and it was so great to be a part of such a large successful event and cause that I would never pass up the chance to take part again. Since participating last year and being truly moved by Relay I've really tried to step up my fund raising, which is why I'm looking for all the help I can get in asking for donations.
